Located in the heart of historic Montchanin Village, Krazy Kat’s is entering an exciting new chapter under the culinary leadership of James Beard Award semifinalist Chef Dwain Kalup
. Set in a historic 1840s building, the restaurant combines an incredible setting with an ambitious new vision for food and hospitality.
We’re looking for talented, motivated Line Cooks who take pride in their craft and want to be part of building something special. You’ll work alongside Chef Kalup and our culinary team to execute a creative, high-quality menu in a kitchen where consistency, organization, and teamwork matter.
What You’ll DoPrepare and execute menu items to the restaurant’s standards
Set up and maintain an organized, fully stocked station
Follow recipes, preparation methods, and plating standards consistently
Maintain quality and attention to detail during busy service
Properly handle, store, and rotate ingredients
Maintain excellent food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
Communicate and work closely with the entire culinary team
Assist with prep and other kitchen responsibilities as needed
Previous line cook or professional kitchen experience preferred
Passion for cooking and an interest in developing your craft
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Ability to stay organized and focused during busy service
Dependability and a strong work ethic
Positive attitude and team-first mentality
Willingness to learn and take direction
