Customer Service Associate

Overview

Customer Service Associate I role at Family Dollar.

Location:

Hartly, Delaware. Part-time position.

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while operating the assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks; stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional and friendly interactions
• Maintain store cleanliness, including restrooms, floors, trash, and overall neatness
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or related environments is highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
• Physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs and to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, climb, push, and pull as needed
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
