Retail Sales Department Manager

Boscov's Department Store is seeking a Retail Sales Department Manager for our Cosmetics & Jewelry departments. In this role, you will lead a sales-focused team, ensuring exceptional customer service and a welcoming shopping experience. You will oversee daily operations, including scheduling, training, merchandising, and inventory control while driving sales goals and maintaining visual standards. As part of our family-owned, community-focused company, you'll help develop associates, build customer loyalty, and support long-term store success and growth opportunities within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise cosmetics and jewelry sales associates to achieve department sales goals
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues promptly
• Oversee scheduling, training, and performance coaching for department staff
• Manage merchandising, visual displays, and promotional setups
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock replenishment, and reduce shrink
• Analyze sales reports and KPIs to drive performance and adjust strategies
• Maintain department standards for cleanliness, organization, and presentation
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and loss prevention practices
• Collaborate with store leadership on events and community-focused initiatives
• Support hiring and onboarding of new associates in assigned departments
