Overview
Eaton’s North American Sales division is seeking a Partner Development Specialist Northeast. This remote role is located in Philadelphia, PA or New Jersey and requires 25% travel.
Responsibilities- Sell assigned product lines to targeted customers in targeted market areas; achieve the assigned sales goal under limited supervision.
- Coordinate sales for the assigned customer and distributor base; manage all aspects of the customer relationship, providing sales and technical assistance with distributors, customers, end users, and specifiers.
- Accurate and timely planning and specification interpretation, quotation, and technical support.
- Communicate with customers, warehouse, and plants to facilitate problem resolution.
- Travel within the territory to conduct customer technical and application training.
- Provide sales and partner enablement support to smaller and mid-sized revenue producing partners in the region.
- Collect, analyze, and utilize market intelligence regarding competitive products, customer needs, preferences, and buying habits.
- Plan promotional events and presentations with distributor personnel to promote Eaton’s position and achieve sales goals.
- Prepare and present bids and quotations using company guidelines and sound business judgment.
- Required (Basic)
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum 1 year of experience within the electrical or IT industry and/or sales
- Valid and unrestricted driver’s license
- Eaton will not sponsor immigration; not eligible for CPT/OPT/STEM OPT or equivalent
- No relocation benefit; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Philadelphia, PA, or in New Jersey (Active-Duty Military are exempt)
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Previous experience within IT channel sales
- Experience with Salesforce
- Time management, presentation, and planning skills
- Knowledge of Eaton Electrical product and service capabilities
- Understanding of the sales process and ability to build good customer relationships
- Awareness of market trends, industry issues, and competitors
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Ability to leverage support personnel to meet customer and organizational needs
The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive, with a target total compensation range of $94,013-$137,885. Base salaries are based on candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
