The DuPont Country Club is currently seeking a highly motivated and reliable Security Guard to join our team in support of our facilities. The Security Guard will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, members and guests.
Responsibilities- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
- Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons
- Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and evict violators from premises as necessary
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position preferred
- Ability to operate emergency equipment
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation
Integrity and professionalism - Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Valid state security guard license preferred
