As a Garage Door Installer at Precision Garage Door Services, you’ll be responsible for repairing, replacing, and installing garage doors at customer locations, ensuring each job is completed safely and correctly.

• Diagnose and repair garage doors, door operators, and related components, including installing new equipment and replacing springs.
• Educate the customer – explain repair options, preventive measures, and the work performed.
• Sell service, repairs, and new equipment using the good/better/best model, and collect payment.
• Manage inventory in your vehicle – maintain required tools, equipment, and product supplies.

• Maximize time – address customer needs, offer optimal solutions, and manage schedule to serve as many customers as possible.
• Deliver quality work – ensure each job is completed correctly the first time.

• Mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds independently.
• Capability to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in hot or cold environments indoors or outdoors.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Reliability and adherence to company processes.

• Experience in the garage door industry preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with computers and/or tablets.
• Comfort with hand tools and mechanical equipment.

Competitive pay that meets or beats industry standards. During the 90‑day training period you will receive a base pay of $XX.XX per hour. After training, you will receive hourly rate on the work you complete. Most door installers make between $60,000 and $100,000 per year.
