Plumbing MechanicActive – Full‑time position in Newark, DE.
Sobieski New Homes, a division of J. F. Sobieski Mechanical Contractors, is seeking a Residential New Construction Plumber to install plumbing systems—underground, rough, and final—in new homes. The plumber will also train plumbing helpers.
Regular hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime expected during peak periods. Compensation is a competitive wage based on experience, and benefits include paid vacation and holidays, a 401(k) plan, free training, and flexible scheduling.
Qualifications:
- Licensed journeyman plumber (preferred) or 3+ years of new home construction experience
- Hands‑on knowledge of residential plumbing construction and ability to read blueprints
- Ability to install water lines, water heater, sinks, and toilets
- Knowledge of applicable state codes
