We're looking for an Electrical Technician to join our growing team. In this field-based role, you'll assist with the installation of residential and commercial solar PV and energy storage systems while working alongside experienced professionals to deliver safe, high-quality installations that meet company standards and electrical codes.
Whether you're experienced in solar or looking to grow your electrical career, Renu provides classroom and hands-on field training during your first 30 days. All tools and required safety equipment are provided, and some local travel between job sites is required.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES- System Installation: Assist with the installation of solar PV and energy storage systems from start to finish.
- Electrical Work: Install system components while following electrical diagrams, specifications, and project requirements
- Quality & Safety: Perform work in accordance with company standards, electrical codes, and safety requirements.
- Team Support: Assist the Electrical Team Lead and crew members to ensure efficient project completion.
- Equipment Management: Maintain work vehicles, tools, equipment, and inventory.
- Field Service: Assist with electrical upgrades, rooftop work, and other field installation activities.
- Continuous Improvement: Complete training and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work safely on rooftops, ladders, attics, crawlspaces, and confined spaces
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and teamwork skills
- General knowledge of electrical work, construction, and OSHA safety practices
- Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
- 1+ year of electrical experience
- 1+ year of solar electrical experience
- Experience with residential or commercial electrical installations
- Interest in building a career in the renewable energy industry
