Easterseals is seeking a motivated and dedicated professional to provide support and guidance in the community to adult individuals with intellectual disabilities as they learn to strengthen work and life skills, not limited to, but including, communication and daily routines.
As you build relationships with the people you support, you will share in the joy they experience when learning a new skill that promotes independence in everyday life.
Qualifications:- Must have compassion for others and the desire to support adults with disabilities
- Must be able to work 40 hours/weekly M-F (daytime)
- Must be at least 21 years of age to drive company vehicles
- Driving record in good standing
- Experience supporting individuals with disabilities in a community setting
- Experience providing support to adult individuals with disabilities
Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to monitor adults with disabilities in a community setting
- Associate’s Degree in Human Services
- Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply

This is a 40-hour a week position Monday-Friday daytime hours. The starting compensation is $18.00 an hour.
