Manager Of Employment Training
Community Integrated Services is seeking a compassionate, organized, and results-driven Manager of Employment Training to lead and support a team dedicated to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities achieve meaningful employment. In this role, you will oversee employment services, guide staff, strengthen employer partnerships, and ensure high-quality support for participants throughout their path to competitive employment. As a CIS leader, you'll be part of a supportive, mission-driven organization committed to building a more equitable workforce throughout the State of Delaware.
Provide leadership, coaching, and day-to-day support to direct service professionals to ensure participants receive individualized, high-quality services throughout all stages of job development, placement, and retention.
Monitor service documentation, case notes, and participant progress to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely follow-up.
Oversee staff efforts to help participants succeed in community-based employment settings while promoting independence, inclusion, and long-term job success.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers, community partners, funders, families, and other stakeholders to support employment opportunities for assigned participants.
Guide staff in matching participants to appropriate job opportunities, coordinating referrals, and ensuring follow-up after placement.
Evaluate participant support needs and help staff develop effective workplace strategies that are practical, individualized, and as natural to the workplace as possible.
Support assessments, service planning, and team coordination to ensure participant goals are clearly identified and actively addressed.
Communicate consistently and professionally with participants, employers, families, funders, and CIS team members through written, verbal, and electronic communication.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school);
Preferred
Experience:
1 plus years of experience in Education, Social Services or Business
Computer
Skills:
Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products, specifically Outlook, Excel and Word.
Certifications & Licenses:
Possess valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
Other Requirements:
