Dispatch Logistics Specialist
Chester County, PA
Full-Time | 3.5 Day workweek - 12 Hour Shifts
A well-established distribution company in Chester County is seeking a Dispatch Logistics Specialist to support daily transportation operations across a fleet of truck (CDL) drivers. This role works closely with drivers, third-party carriers, customers, and internal teams to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.
Key Responsibilities- Dispatch company drivers and third-party carriers
- Monitor driver routes and provide status updates
- Communicate delays or issues to internal teams and customers
- Assist drivers with unexpected situations (dock closures, breakdowns, load issues, etc.)
- Coordinate with shipping and yard teams to ensure timely trailer loading
- Support backhauls, fleet coordination, and general transportation activities
- 1–3 years of logistics or transportation experience preferred
- Strong communication skills (phone and email)
- Ability to prioritize and solve problems independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Starting at $20/hour
