Overview

In a fast-growing and dynamic organization, we are seeking a Portfolio Resource Planner to help shape and join a soon-to-be-established Project Management Office (PMO). In this role, you will help to develop processes for resource planning and integrated portfolio planning across a diverse set of small satellite projects. You will work closely with the PMO Manager, Project Managers, Team Leaders, and key stakeholders to align project schedules, manage cross-project dependencies, and ensure that resource allocation supports overall portfolio priorities.

Your work will directly contribute to improved planning accuracy, delivery performance, and strategic alignment across the organization. As a key member of the PMO team, you will play an important role in enhancing portfolio visibility, improving planning processes, and enabling better decision-making through data-driven insights.

Responsibilities
  • Play a key role in establishing and setting up the Project Management Office (PMO), including defining structures, processes, and ways of working.

  • Own and drive integrated portfolio planning, aligning schedules, milestones, and dependencies across multiple concurrent projects.

  • Coordinate and optimize resource planning across the portfolio, ensuring effective allocation in line with project priorities.

  • Identify and manage cross-project dependencies, risks, and planning conflicts.

  • Play a key role in the implementation and adoption of a new project portfolio and resource management tool.

  • Provide reporting and scenario analyses on portfolio timelines, milestone planning, and resource capacity.

  • Increase visibility and control across the project portfolio through structured and reliable planning data.

  • Support the PMO in defining and documenting project management processes, standards, and templates.

  • You have a BSc or equivalent degree, preferably in industrial engineering, engineering management, operations project management, or a related field.

  • You have 3+ years of demonstrated experience in resource or portfolio planning, project control, or a closely related field.

  • Experience with resource and portfolio management tools is a plus (e.g. MS Project, Planview, Planisware, Celoxis, Epic Flow, or similar).

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work with data, forecasts, and translate these into actionable insights.

  • Excellent and clear communication skills (fluent in English).

  • Proactive, self-starter with a structured and solution-oriented mindset.

  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • Interest in continuous process improvement and change management.
