Job Description Board-Level Contribution and Time Commitment:
Quarterly Board meetings
Act as the Board's Governance and Healthcare credibility anchor
Ad-hoc strategic inputs when required
Guide management on IPO preparedness and listed-company conduct
Provide Mentorship to Leadership on Board discipline, Investor-facing behaviour, Crisis and issue management
Act as sounding board to the CEO
Share best practices in scaling and running large organizations
Help sharpen company's positioning vs large incumbents insights on competitor strategies, and industry trends
Support strategic alliances and anchor partnerships for growth
Help identify white spaces and defensible moats
Estimated Time Commitment: 8-12 hours/month
The Successful Applicant The successful NED will be required to provide strong independent oversight on governance, compliance, quality, and public market readiness, drawing from hands-on leadership experience in large and reputed Healthcare / Diagnostics / Pharma companies.
A successful NED should have:
25-30+ years of experience in Diagnostics, Hospitals, Pharma, Healthcare services or healthcare delivery platforms
Prior roles as: MD / CEO / Whole-time Director / Non-Executive Director
Experience of working with a public listed Healthcare / Pharma company, will be a strong advantage
Should have direct exposure to:
Regulatory Compliance, Clinical Governance, Audit & Risk management and Public market scrutiny.
Strong independence and ability to challenge founders / investors
Willingness to invest time and thought
Alignment with long-term value creation and IPO journey
Exclusions :
We will not consider candidates who are:
Pure finance-only profiles (unless healthcare- listed CFO background)
Academic / policy-only healthcare experts
Foreign-only experience without Indian regulatory exposure
Advisory-board-only profiles without operating depth
