Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Agronomist role located in Ahmedabad. The Agronomist will be responsible for conducting soil and plant health analyses, assisting in the development of precision agriculture solutions, and providing crop nutrition recommendations. The candidate will work closely with farmers, cooperatives, and stakeholders to deploy innovative soil intelligence tools and implement practical agricultural solutions that improve crop yield and soil health.
Additional responsibilities include supporting trials, research studies, and evaluating the results of agricultural practices to drive data-informed decisions.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of Soil Science and Plant Nutrition principles
Knowledge of Agriculture practices and Irrigation methods
Experience in Research focused on crop and soil health improvement
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop practical, field-based solutions
Effective communication skills to collaborate with farmers, cooperatives, and other stakeholders
Familiarity with AI-based or data-driven agricultural systems is an advantage
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Soil Science, or a related field is required
Experience in precision agriculture or similar applications is highly desirable
