We are seeking an AI Training Specialist (Chemistry) to create advanced Chemistry problems for training and evaluating frontier AI systems. This role emphasizes precision, formal chemical reasoning, and realistic university-level problem design.
Main Responsibilities
Design and curate upper-undergraduate and graduate-level Chemistry problems with complete, step-by-step solutions.
Develop model-breaking tasks that reflect realistic academic chemistry challenges.
Customize problem sets to meet strict formatting and specification requirements (SI units, LaTeX, closed-form answers).
Convert diagram-heavy or multi-part questions into clear, text-only problems with definitive answers.
Write and verify rigorous solution processes, ensuring internal consistency and correctness.
Evaluate AI model outputs, identify failure modes, and refine tasks to maintain difficulty standards.
Review and improve Chemistry problems created by peers for clarity, accuracy, and difficulty.
Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to maintain quality at scale.
