The Dell Rapids School District is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Head Boys Track Coach to join our coaching staff. The ideal candidate will work with the middle school track coaches and assistant coaches in all aspects of the program and contribute to a positive and successful team environment.

• Work with assistant track coaches in planning and implementing practices.
• Work with individual student-athletes to develop their skills.
• Manage equipment and facilities.
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, assistant coaches, and the activities director.
• Promote sportsmanship and positive team culture.
• Foster a safe and supportive environment for all athletes.
• Adhere to all school and district policies and regulations.

• Previous coaching experience at the middle school or high school level.
• Strong knowledge of track and field rules and strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of
• Ability to work collaboratively with coaches and players.
• Commitment to academic and athletic excellence.
• Background check clearance
• Must complete SDHSAA coaches education requirements.
