Director of Nursing

Tekakwitha Living Center is seeking a caring and compassionate person for the Director of Nursing position. This individual directs the licensed and non-licensed staff who provide health care and nursing services to residents of the facility. The Director of Nursing’s primary responsibility is to ensure the provision of quality nursing care on a 24-hour basis to the residents of the care center in accordance with Federal, State and Local standards and regulations.

The position exists to plan, organize, and direct the activities of the nursing department to ensure the delivery of quality nursing care with the goal of facilitating the highest level of functioning and independence for each resident.

The best candidate is organized, compassionate, ethical, and hard-working. Experience with leading a group of individuals is beneficial.
