Technical Writer - PART TIME

The Technical Writer will develop, organize, maintain, and quality-review the technical, operational, user, training, architecture, and implementation documentation required for PACT.

• Develop and maintain project technical documentation.
• Coordinate logical, physical, security, data-flow, and integration architecture documentation with technical leads.
• Maintain Interface Control Documents with the Data/Interface Engineer.
• Document configuration-management procedures and technical operating procedures.
• Prepare application/code documentation needed for State use and maintenance.
• Support documentation for Advance Planning Document (APD) submissions and enhanced federal-funding requirements.
• Develop or coordinate operational runbooks, deployment procedures, disaster recovery/business continuity documentation, and support procedures.
• Support SOPs, user guides, administrator guides, quick-reference guides, and training materials.
• Maintain document version control and approved-document repositories.
• Ensure documentation is kept current throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Work with the PM, BA team, Technical Lead, Security Lead, Trainer, QA, and support teams.

• 5+ years of technical-writing/documentation experience for enterprise IT systems.
• Experience documenting cloud applications, APIs, data flows, architectures, operations, and support procedures.
• Government or healthcare documentation experience preferred.
• Experience with Medicaid/CMS APD documentation is a strong advantage.
• Ability to work directly with architects, developers, security teams, QA, and business SMEs.
