We’re partnering with a growing real estate investment and management platform to hire a Lease Accountant to own lease accounting across a multi-property commercial portfolio. This role offers end-to-end ownership, strong cross-functional exposure, and the opportunity to help build scalable processes in a PE-style environment.
Responsibilities- Review, abstract, and maintain leases, amendments, and renewals
- Set up and manage leases in Yardi (or similar systems)
- Ensure accurate billing, rent rolls, and lease compliance
- Support straight-line rent, CAM reconciliations, and tenant billings
- Partner with Accounting, Property Management, and Asset Management
- Support audits, due diligence, and transaction-related lease schedules
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–6+ years of lease or real estate accounting experience
- Strong understanding of commercial lease structures
- Yardi experience strongly preferred
- Detail-oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
