The Senior Accountant will be responsible for daily general accounting responsibilities including, but not limited to, journal entries, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and audit support. This role requires a highly organized, analytical professional who thrives in a deadline-driven environment and enjoys working cross-functionally.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements
- Prepare and record journal entries and perform account reconciliations across multiple accounts and legal entities
- Analyze financial results to ensure accuracy and completeness; identify and explain variances
- Partner with accounting peers and cross-functional teams to resolve reconciliation issues and improve processes
- Assist with preparation of annual audited financial statements and provide audit support
- Document accounting policies, procedures, and workflows for assigned areas of responsibility
- Participate in ad hoc and recurring projects, providing analysis to support business initiatives
- Prepare and analyze lease-related activity and owner payments; identify opportunities to improve efficiency and controls

This role is primarily office-based within a collaborative, team-oriented culture that values in-person collaboration while allowing flexibility as business needs permit.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA candidate preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within real estate, leasing, telecommunications, or a related industry
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience with Net Suite or a similar ERP system preferred
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Lease accounting experience is a plus
- Comfortable working independently while contributing to an entrepreneurial, team-focused culture
