Accounting Clerk

Lumitec LLC, a Clarience Technology Company, is a growing manufacturer based in Delray Beach, Florida. We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our accounting department and help keep our financial operations running smoothly.

About the Role

As our Accounting Clerk, you will support core accounting functions like accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, data entry, and recordkeeping, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a great fit for someone who's organized, dependable, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities and deadlines.

What You'll Do

• Process accounts payable: verify invoices, match purchase orders, and prepare payments for approval
• Process accounts receivable: generate customer invoices, apply payments, and follow up on outstanding balances
• Perform accurate, timely data entry of financial transactions
• Reconcile vendor statements, bank statements, and company credit card transactions
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records, files, and supporting documentation
• Assist with month-end and year-end close, including journal entries as directed
• Support payroll processing and related recordkeeping as needed
• Track and reconcile inventory-related costs and purchase orders alongside the operations team
• Respond to internal and external inquiries about invoices, payments, and account balances
• Help prepare reports for management, auditors, or outside accountants
• Maintain compliance with company policy and GAAP
• Support other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned

What You Bring

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Experience with accounting software (Quick Books, Exact Max, Net Suite, or similar)
• Strong Excel skills, including basic formulas and spreadsheet organization
• Sharp attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to meet deadlines
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Primarily office-based within a manufacturing facility
• Occasional walking through production areas (standard safety guidelines apply)
• Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work
• Occasional lifting of files or office supplies up to 15 lbs.
