Staff Accountant

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our accounting and finance team. This position will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and general ledger activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
• Perform balance sheet and bank account reconciliations
• Maintain supporting schedules for various general ledger accounts
• Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Assist with external audit requests and preparation of supporting documentation
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting and financial reporting issues
• Perform additional accounting and finance projects as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1-3+ years of relevant accounting experience preferred
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and the general ledger
• Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, Pivot Tables, and data analysis
• Experience with ERP or accounting software preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
