POSITION OVERVIEW
The Office Assistant provides administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the office.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide friendly and exceptional customer service by greeting guests entering the Office and answering calls, voicemails and emails in a timely manner. Assist parents with a variety of student/teacher related questions.
- Create, share, maintain, and update spreadsheets/documents to assist in communications between office staff and administration.
- Keep all paperwork, forms & handouts for parents up-to-date and organized. Maintain and update various annual documents.
- Responsible for maintaining office supplies and submitting supply orders for office staff.
- Responsible for maintaining the aesthetics and appearance of the office space.
- Assist all Office staff and administration with projects, filing and any other requested assistance as needed.
- High School diploma or equivalent ( Bachelors Degree preferred)
- Experience in a high volume office setting
- Administrative assistant experience preferred but not required
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to multitask
- Highly organized
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Technologically savvy and ability to adapt to new software quickly
- Self-motivated
- Completes tasks independently
- Professional in all situations

- Extended periods of time sitting and/or standing
- Ability to bend, reach, and stoop
- Long periods of time on the computer
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
