• Explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non‑mechanical individuals which may include other teammates and customers when required.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• General automobile knowledge on various manufacturers.
• Test‑drive vehicles, test components and systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in order to stay abreast with the ever rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized and clean service department.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Professional personal appearance.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate solutions to others.
• Any other duties assigned.
• Integrity, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic required.
• Willing to learn mentality.
• CDK knowledge is helpful.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Automotive Service Tech Experience required.
• ASE certifications or equivalent certifications required.

• Be able to bend, stoop, kneel and lift to at least 50lbs.
• All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre‑employment testing to include background checks and MVR.
