Our client, an online specialty retailer
, is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to join their team in Delray Beach on a hybrid schedule (M-W in-office). This is a temporary role, with the potential to convert based on performance and the needs of the business. This position offers hands‑on exposure to the full e‑commerce retail lifecycle, from vendor purchasing through consumer demand analysis.
Duties Include:
- Supply Chain & In-Stock Operations
- Primary Focus:
Inventory accuracy, purchasing execution, and vendor coordination. - Purchase Order Management:
Review system‑generated purchasing recommendations and create, adjust, and release purchase orders to vendors on a daily basis. - ERP System Ownership:
Act as a primary user of the purchasing ERP system, maintaining data accuracy for item costs, lead times, and vendor information. - Vendor Communication:
Manage ongoing correspondence with vendors regarding open purchase orders, including acknowledgments, confirmations, and shipment updates. - Inbound Issue Resolution:
Serve as the main point of contact for inbound shipment discrepancies, partnering with warehouse teams to resolve shortages, damages, overages, or incorrect items. - Inventory Monitoring:
Track out‑of‑stock reports and low‑inventory alerts to help prevent lost sales, particularly on high‑performing SKUs. - Cross‑Functional
Collaboration:
Partner closely with internal pharmacy and customer service teams to address inventory‑related questions and escalations. - Sales & Inventory Reporting:
Produce weekly sales reports by category to evaluate product performance and identify fast‑ and slow‑moving items. - Site Merchandising Support:
Ensure inventory availability is accurately reflected on the website, including proper display of “In Stock” indicators.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1+ years of professional experience. Recent graduates with relevant internship or co‑op experience are encouraged to apply.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, lookup functions, and formulas.
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus; training will be provided as needed.
- SQL experience is a plus.
- Analytical Approach:
Enjoys working with data to uncover trends, insights, and opportunities. - Communication
Skills:
Comfortable communicating clearly with external vendors and internal operations teams. - Adaptability:
Able to move fluidly between operational execution and analytical problem‑solving. - Interest in e‑commerce operations, inventory management, and supply chain analytics
