Regulatory Compliance Specialist

What You'll Do- Manage prior authorizations, referrals, appeals, extensions, and reauthorizations from submission through approval.
- Review clinical documentation to ensure submissions meet payer and medical necessity requirements.
- Follow up with insurance carriers to monitor status and resolve authorization issues.
- Coordinate peer reviews, appeals, referrals, and medication access workflows.
- Maintain accurate documentation across EHR, CRM, and related systems.
- Partner with Case Managers and clinical teams to support timely patient care.
- Experience with prior authorizations, insurance verification, medical billing, or related healthcare operations.
- Knowledge of commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid payer requirements.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with AdvancedMD, Salesforce, and Availity preferred.
- TMS, Spravato®, or specialty behavioral health authorization experience.
- Familiarity with REMS and Spravato® With Me programs.
- Knowledge of specialty pharmacy or Buy & Bill workflows.
The selected candidate will be eligible for the Company’s benefit plans, including health, dental, and vision insurance; supplemental coverage; HSA/FSA accounts; life and disability insurance; and a 401(k) with company contribution. Non‑exempt salaried employees accrue vacation (.625) and personal time (.29166) per pay period, while full‑time exempt employees are eligible for Flex‑PTO with no accrual. Paid sick leave is provided where required by state law.
