Montessori Toddler Teacher

Unity School is seeking a warm, experienced, and enthusiastic Montessori teacher to join our toddler team. We are a well-established Montessori school that has served families in South Florida for 60 years. Our school community is grounded in harmony, respect, and a shared commitment to nurturing the whole child. We are looking for a positive role model who is passionate about Montessori education, embraces lifelong learning, and collaborates well with others in a dynamic school environment.

• AMS or AMI Montessori Primary Certification (preferred)
• Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education (required)
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working with toddler-aged children
• Knowledge of Positive Discipline or similar classroom management approaches

• A love for children and a commitment to meeting individual student needs
• Collaborative and team-oriented
• Ability to balance multiple responsibilities in a busy school setting
• Intellectually curious and passionate about Montessori philosophy

  Commensurate with experience and credentials
• Schedule:
  
  8:00 AM – 1:00 PM or 8:00 AM-5:30 PM (toddler teacher into aftercare)
• Benefits:
  Summers and all major holidays off with the option to work up to 4 weeks of summer camp

• Develop engaging, developmentally appropriate circle time lessons aligned with
• Refresh and rotate classroom materials monthly, following Montessori scope and sequence

• Monitor student progress daily, using observations and assessments to guide individualized instruction
• Ensure student safety and engagement during work time, snack, and outdoor play

• Maintain open, regular communication with parents
• Complete progress reports and lead parent conferences with professionalism and care

• Maintain a clean and organized learning environment, including biweekly classroom section refreshes
• Record daily attendance and manage classroom lunch orders
