As we continue to expand our horizons, we're seeking a proactive and motivated CADD Technician to join our team. As a CADD Technician at DDEC, you will play a pivotal role in executing our projects to perfection.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare accurate and detailed engineering drawings using CAD software
- Work closely with Project Engineers to translate technical concepts and specifications into design documents.
- Apply established drafting and design standards to produce deliverables efficiently and accurately.
- Compile project data and perform routine dimensional calculations required for drawing preparation.
- Revise and update drawings as needed, following a structured quality control process that includes checking, correcting, and verification.
- Support client engagement by responding to technical questions and presenting design solutions.
- Other relevant duties as assigned.
- An Associate’s degree or higher in CADD, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- One or more years of relevant drafting and design experience preferred.
- Experience with roadway design and plan preparation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other applicable design software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Experience working with local government agencies preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and compliance with established drafting standards.

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 Annual
