Position OverviewBermello Ajamil (BA), a Woolpert Company, is hiring a Project Manager (Engineering Project Manager - Ports & Maritime) to join our Coral Gables, FL office. The role reports to the Project Management Discipline Leader and is responsible for leading ports & maritime engineering projects and multi-disciplinary teams in the region. Experience with ports & maritime studios/sub-markets is required. This is a full-time in-person/hybrid position.

What You Will Do- Lead and facilitate the overall cross-functional project team.
- Oversee the quality of deliverables (construction plans, design calculations, technical reports, and project deliverables).
- Resolve issues impacting project objectives.
- Lead or support scope and budget/pricing development for proposals and dynamic project planning.
- Review projects for quality and conformity, and approve work performed by other engineers.
- Apply extensive theoretical principles in marine, structural, and geotechnical engineering.
- Support client relationships and business development aligned with the strategic plan.
- Act as a key internal point of contact for communication.
- Identify plan vs. actual performance variances.
- Promote Bermello Ajamil and Woolpert as industry leaders to clients.
- Collaborate with Market Leads on negotiation of project schedule, fee, scope and contract terms for complex, multi-discipline projects.
- Identify and resolve project issues impacting client goals and satisfaction.
- Define and communicate client needs and expectations.
- Ensure ongoing stakeholder communications and address and anticipate project issues.
Experience with Port & Maritime markets is required.
- Experience leading Ports & Maritime engineering projects.
- Active Professional Registration preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of related industry experience.
- Strong understanding of project management fundamentals and ability to facilitate technical discussions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, REVIT, SAP
2000, L-Pile, or equivalent software. - Demonstrated leadership, negotiation, influence, and risk management skills.
- Effective communication in internal and external relationships for all essential job functions.
- Experience with engineering principles relevant to structural and geotechnical waterfront infrastructure.
- Ability to make sound decisions based on evaluation of project data.
- Travel up to 20% for local, regional, and national clients/projects.

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Pay Range: $118,200 — $147,800 USD
