POSITION SUMMARYThe MIP (Maintenance Inspection Program) & Parts Configuration Analyst assists the Manager Maintenance Planning with managing, developing, and maintaining the Company’s Aircraft Maintenance Inspection Program (MIP) and aircraft parts/configuration control processes. The position is responsible for ensuring the maintenance planning program, aircraft configuration records, and associated maintenance documentation remain accurate, current, and compliant with applicable FAA regulations, OEM requirements, and Company manuals.
This role supports the integrity of aircraft maintenance data, maintenance program tasks, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, parts interchangeability, and aircraft configuration tracking within the Company’s maintenance and engineering systems. The Analyst ensures that all maintenance activities and aircraft configurations are aligned with Aviation Regulations, the Company’s General Maintenance Manual (GMM), Maintenance Inspection Program (MIP), and approved engineering documentation.
- Analyze, develop and manage the company’s aircraft maintenance program, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations.
- Compliance audit of the maintenance program.
- Write procedures and update manuals on a continuous basis.
- Maintain Maintenance Program Tasks and Airworthiness directives in our maintenance and engineering software tracking system (Aero-soft PMI).
- Maintain and review computerized or manual records of the Maintenance Inspection Program and associated Job Cards.
- Review FAA Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Aircraft STC 's for maintenance requirements and Fleet compliance with close communication with our engineering team.
- Coordinate the implementation of new aircraft into our maintenance program and maintenance tracking system (Aero-soft PMI).
- Maintain aircraft parts configuration records, including serialized components, part interchangeability, modification status, and configuration control documentation.
- Review and validate aircraft configuration changes to ensure alignment with approved engineering data, IPCs (Illustrated Parts Catalogs), EO/SB implementation status, and regulatory requirements.
- Support parts configuration management activities related to component tracking, removals/installations, and fleet standardization initiatives.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Materials, Maintenance Planning, Technical Records, and Quality Assurance to ensure aircraft and component configurations remain accurate and properly documented.
- Monitor and verify configuration deviations, deferred configuration items, and non-standard aircraft configurations.
- Assist with maintenance forecasting and planning activities impacted by configuration changes, component life limits, and modification programs.
- Support aircraft induction, transitions, heavy maintenance visits, and lease return activities related to aircraft configuration and records accuracy.
- Consistently maintains quantity and quality of work standards set.
- Always adheres to Amerijet Company policies and procedures.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation, Engineering, Science, or related field; and/or Aviation Certification (such as FAA Airframe & Powerplant License) with relevant experience.
- Prior experience in aircraft maintenance, maintenance planning, technical records, engineering support, or configuration management within an airline or MRO environment.
- Working knowledge of FAA Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs), and OEM maintenance documentation.
