Key Responsibilities Property Management Support

  • Assist with day-to-day property operations, including tenant correspondence, service requests, and lease administration.
  • Review new leases and renewals in Yardi ensuring accuracy
  • Lead with vendor communication and project management
  • Track project costs confirming accuracy of project budgets
  • Perform construction draws and assist with project funding requests
  • Maintain project schedules to ensure timely and on-budget completion
  • Support implementation of property operations processes and procedures
  • Assist with monthly financial reporting packages, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare monthly accruals for property-level expenses.
  • Run annual budgeting and CAM reconciliation process.
  • Conduct variance analysis between actual results and budget, identifying key drivers and discrepancies.
  • Process accounts payable (A/P) transactions, ensuring invoices are properly coded.
Reporting & Analysis
  • Collaborate with accounting to ensure data accuracy in property management systems.
  • Assist with special projects, audits, and other financial analysis requests.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • 6+ years of experience in property management, real estate accounting, or related industry preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statements, and accrual accounting.
  • Experience with property management software (Yardi or similar) strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems required.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
