Overview
This is a full-time on-site role for a Radiation Therapist based in Delray Beach, FL. The Radiation Therapist will be responsible for accurately administering prescribed doses of radiation to patients, adhering to treatment plans, and ensuring patient safety throughout the process. This includes preparing and operating equipment, monitoring patient responses, and working closely with medical staff to ensure quality care and maintain radiation safety protocols.
Qualifications- Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Strong knowledge of and experience with Radiation Safety practices
- An understanding of medical principles and practices in the field of Radiation Therapy
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow treatment plans precisely
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team
- Previous experience in a radiation oncology setting is preferred
