Overview

Family First Adolescent Services is a behavioral health treatment center located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, dedicated to helping adolescent boys (ages 12–18) and their families heal, grow, and reconnect. Since its founding in 2014, Family First has served as a trusted resource for families navigating complex mental health, behavioral, and substance use challenges. With a trauma-informed, evidence-based approach, we create personalized treatment plans that address both the surface behaviors and deeper root causes affecting each teen.

Our Comprehensive Care Model Includes:

  • Individual, group, and family therapy, using evidence-based methodologies such as CBT, DBT, and EMDR.
  • Academic support, ensuring teens stay on track with their education or career readiness while in treatment.
  • Experiential and holistic therapies, including adventure therapy, equine work, Cross Fit, and outdoor activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional wellness.
  • Continuing care and alumni support, offering follow-up for up to 12 months post-discharge to help maintain progress and resilience.
  • Ongoing family engagement, focusing on healing the family system and equipping parents with tools and insights to support lasting change. All programming is delivered in safe, home-like residential settings in Palm Beach Gardens, designed to foster community, comfort, and focused healing.

Leadership opportunity within a collaborative and relational treatment environment. Family First Adolescent Services:
Pinnacle Day Program is expanding and seeking a dedicated Program Coordinator - Academic Coordinator to join our team. Our organization believes in a relational and developmental approach to working with clients and families, as well as supporting staff in their continued growth and development.

As Program Coordinator - Academic Coordinator, you will oversee day-to-day operations of the Pinnacle Day Program to ensure the highest standards of care and consistency across departments. You will play a vital leadership role by supervising the Case Manager, facilitating family calls, and ensuring that clinical, academic, and operational processes align smoothly to support client outcomes.

This position is ideal for an experienced professional who thrives in a structured, team-oriented environment and values the opportunity to contribute to the healing and growth of adolescents and their families.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate daily operations of the Pinnacle Day Program to ensure efficiency and quality of care.
  • Supervise and support the Case Manager, fostering professional growth and accountability.
  • Conduct regular family calls and provide ongoing communication to support engagement and treatment alignment.
  • Collaborate with clinical, academic, and residential teams to maintain a unified and therapeutic environment.
  • Review documentation, schedules, and reports to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Support and model a culture consistent with Family First’s mission, values, and trauma-informed care principles.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide feedback to improve program effectiveness.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with leadership to support analytical insight, program development, and continual evolution of processes and outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Education, or a related field (required).
  • LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT licensure (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a behavioral health or residential treatment setting.
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership or program coordination.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed, attachment-based, or family systems approaches.
