Job SummaryFull Time, Days
Position SummaryResponsible for the administrative and clinical aspects of Surgical Services to include organizing, developing, directing and assuring the deliverance of cost effective, quality patient care. Ensures that patient care on Surgical Services is performed in accordance with established Hospital, State licensing, Joint Commission and other applicable regulatory agency policies, procedures and standards.
Responsibilities- Develop unit and/or product line specific, patient care programs, policies and procedures that describe how patient care needs or patient populations receiving care are assessed, evaluated and met.
- Develop and implement the unit-based plan for providing patient care to those requiring care.
- Foster a professional environment.
- Implement an effective, ongoing program to Surgical Services.
- Education: Minimum:
Associate Degree in Nursing or related field.
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field. - Experience: Two years experience in health care management and two years experience in clinical related specialty.
- Required Certification/Licensure/Registration: Registered Nurse – licensed in the State of Florida.

Managerial experience – able to relate to a large variety of individuals.
