Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented OASIS/QA SPECIALIST to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of patient data through quality assurance processes, and adherence to healthcare regulations. Your expertise will support the delivery of high-quality patient care, optimize billing processes, and maintain regulatory compliance across various healthcare settings.

- Lead professional development for clinical field staff.
- Oversee the QA and OASIS review.
- Co-chair the QAPI program with the DON.
- Partner with leadership, compliance, and clinical teams.
- Ensure accurate complaint documentation and care standards per AHCA and Joint Commission requirements.
- Guide, mentor, and develop clinical teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
- Lead onboarding and conduct field and supervisory visits for new hires.
- Medicare star rating monitoring and management.
- Conduct comprehensive audits of electronic health records (EHR) to verify data integrity, coding accuracy, and compliance with HIPAA and CMS regulations.
- Utilize Axxess, Microsoft Office tools, and Google Workspace proficiently for documentation, reporting, and data analysis tasks related to healthcare compliance and quality assurance.
- Active RN license in the state of Florida.
- 2+ years in Medicare Home Health Care and OASIS documentation required.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of POC accuracy regulations and experience training clinicians.
- Knowledgeable in Axxess
- Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare compliance standards, including CMS regulations, JCAHO accreditation.
- Excellent understanding of healthcare laws related to risk management, patient privacy (HIPAA), and accreditation standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while demonstrating leadership qualities in managing compliance projects.
