The Executive Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations and occupancy of the Age Well Solvere Living Managed Community, including financial management, business planning, development, implementation, evaluation, and improvement of program services, management of staff, and delivery of high‑quality services to residents and their families. The Executive Director also proactively communicates with their direct supervisor any situation that might pose a threat to the community and adheres to all regulations and policy and procedures established by Age Well Solvere Living.
Management& Financial
- Maintains ongoing compliance with local, state, federal, regulatory, and accrediting body standards.
- Ensures the Community is prepared for inspection by regulatory agencies through regular auditing and updating of policies, medical records documentation, and environmental monitoring.
- Maintains monthly financial reports and explains variances.
- Oversees departmental budgets and guides department heads to meet budgetary guidelines.
- Ensures accounts receivable are collected timely.
- Establishes systems and processes to continuously monitor quality of care, service delivery, and regulatory compliance. Reviews quality indicators, identifies and addresses variance.
- Optimizes revenue opportunities, including ancillary revenue.
- Maintains and increases occupancy in accordance with budget.
- Promotes staff participation and involvement in day‑to‑day operations and decision making.
- Leads team building through staff meetings.
- Provides ongoing support, direction, supervision, and feedback regarding job performance of all staff.
- Communicates with team members to ensure they are informed regarding resident and family inquiries.
- Manages recruitment, hiring, employee relations, and separations in accordance with policy.
- Ensures all staff files are created and maintained properly.
- Coordinates evaluation processes and completes evaluations for all department heads.
- Manages disciplinary processes throughout the Community.
- Leads the management in support of the mission and values of the organization.
- Ensures high‑quality services for residents.
- Protects resident rights and educates staff, residents, and families about them.
- Co‑ordinates move‑in processes with the Wellness Director to ensure leases and service plans are executed.
- Responds to family, resident, and team member requests promptly.
- Represents the Community in public settings.
- Promotes the Age Well Solvere Living Managed Community within the local community.
- Ensures accurate use of Sherpa within the Community.
- Generates leads and assists in closing sales.
- Enforces OSHA regulations and safety procedures.
- Ensures full compliance with all laws and regulations related to the operation of an assist. d lived facility.
- Follows all emergency procedures.
- Understands safety policies and procedures.
- Investigates and reviews all on‑site injuries.
- State‑required licensing and certification (if applicable).
- Excellent customer service and public relations skills.
- Experience working with seniors.
- Experience operating and maintaining a customer‑focused environment in a senior living facility.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Meets all current requirements of state regulations for licensed assisted living communities.
- Demonstrated integrity and leadership skills.
- Sincere passion for working with the senior population.
- Promotes the community positively and communicates company values to residents, families, visitors, and team members.
- Physically able to bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 40–50 pounds if necessary.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods.
- Spends at least 30% of time traveling to referral sources in the market area.
