The Golf Course Superintendent is responsible for assisting the Director of Agronomy in managing, directing, and leading the team in maintaining the Club’s golf course.
Responsibilities- Leadership skills fostering a culture of attention to detail, quality, and success
- Staff supervision and delegation of maintenance tasks and responsibilities
- Active in management of Pump Station and Toro Irrigation System
- Assist in development of annual Agronomic Plan and crew training
- Maintain proper safety compliance and recordkeeping
- Provide insight into future long-term capital improvements
- Effective communication skills with Director of Agronomy, General Manager, Director of Golf
- Member Engagement
- Collaborate with Director of Agronomy on IPM applications executing programs that promote exceptional play conditions

- Professional Development
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Turf Management or related field
- Minimum of 5 years with proven agronomic experience as a Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent
- Strong Leadership Skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- FL Pesticide Applicators License or ability to obtain within 120 days of employment
- Valid FL Driver’s License
- Knowledge of Tif Eagle & Celebration Bermuda grass
