To support the efficient and safe packaging and handling of mulch and soil products within the bagging barn and soil line operations. This hybrid position provides flexibility based on seasonality and business needs, assisting where production demand is greatest. The role plays a vital part in ensuring that products are properly mixed, filled, sealed, palletized, and prepared for shipment, while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.

General laborers in this position may rotate between tasks such as feeding materials into machinery, stacking finished pallets, cleaning equipment and work areas, and performing other duties to support smooth and efficient production flow.

The General Laborer position is responsible for performing manual labor tasks to support the packaging and handling of mulch and soil products. Working as part of the production team, this role assists in both the bagging barn and soil line operations as needed. Responsibilities include operating and assisting with bagging and soil line machinery, cleaning the machines, mixing soil blends, loading materials, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring products meet quality and production standards.

• Perform general labor tasks in the bagging barn to support mulch and soil operations.
• Assist with filling, and the operation of stacking bags of products according to production standards.
• Lift, move, and stack materials weighing up to 50 pounds continuously throughout the shift.
• Operate or assist with bagging and palletizing equipment (training provided as needed).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow safety protocols, including use of PPE and equipment safety checks.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
• Assist with loading pallets and preparing finished goods for transport.
• Support production efficiency by communicating with team members and staying alert to workflow needs.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Willingness to work outdoors and in non-climate-controlled areas.
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required (training available).
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to teamwork.
• Must have dependable transportation to the Delray Beach facility.
