Assembly Operator

HOERBIGER is seeking an Assembly Operator I to build precision components used in global compression, drive, and mechatronic systems. In this entry-level role, you will assemble mechanical parts and subassemblies using hand tools, fixtures, and production equipment while following detailed work instructions and engineering drawings. You will inspect parts, record basic production data, and strictly follow safety and quality standards. Working in a clean, organized production environment, you will collaborate with technicians and engineers, supporting continuous improvement and gaining exposure to advanced industrial technology.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies per work instructions and engineering drawings
• Operate basic hand tools, fixtures, and production equipment safely and correctly
• Inspect parts for defects and verify dimensions using gauges and measuring tools
• Follow HOERBIGER quality standards, work procedures, and documentation requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and support 5

• Report equipment issues, nonconformances, and safety hazards promptly
• Meet daily production, accuracy, and throughput targets
• Collaborate with team members and shift leads to solve assembly and quality issues
