Manufacturing Tool Attendant

As a Manufacturing Tool Attendant at Hoerbiger, you will support precision industrial production by preparing, issuing, and maintaining tools and fixtures that keep lines running safely and efficiently. You will manage a tool crib, track inventory, and ensure tools are clean, serviceable, and available for technicians and operators. Working in an engineering-driven environment, you'll follow strict safety and quality standards while using basic measurement, documentation, and ERP systems to support advanced compression, drive, and mechatronic solutions for global customers.

Responsibilities

• Issue, track, and return tools and fixtures to production personnel
• Inspect tools for wear, damage, and calibration status
• Perform basic cleaning, adjustments, and preventive maintenance on tools
• Maintain organized tool crib, storage, and inventory records
• Coordinate tool repairs and replacements with vendors or maintenance
• Support setup of tools and equipment for manufacturing operations
• Monitor tool usage trends and recommend stock levels
• Follow all safety, quality, and 5

• Use ERP or inventory systems to log tool movements and counts
• Collaborate with supervisors and technicians to meet production needs
