The OpportunityWe're looking for a creative, organized, and self-motivated Marketing Assistant to help bring MRP's brand to life across our blog, social media, video, website, and email channels. This is a hands-on, part-time internship built for someone who wants real marketing experience — you'll work directly with our VP/CMO and sales team, own visible projects, and see your work published and read by real clients and prospects.
WhyThis Role Exists
This is not a sales role — but like every role at MRP, it exists to support the sale. The content, campaigns, and brand presence you help create generate the awareness and trust that keep our pipeline full and our sales team in front of the right prospects.
What You'll Do- Develop content for daily blog posts
- Create and schedule social media content
- Develop video content for You Tube and Instagram
- Publish daily social media posts
- Update and maintain website content
- Build and send email marketing campaigns
- Assist with developing quarterly e-books
- Support development of our Referral Partner program through Linked In and Facebook
- Assist CMO with preparation of materials for business expos and attend local events with MRP team
- Attend training webinars to build marketing skills

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field — or currently in your final year of study
- Some hands-on marketing experience required (coursework projects, a prior internship, freelance work, or managing social media/content for a business or organization)
- Some sales experience a plus
- Strong writing skills and an eye for visual detail
- Working knowledge of content and social media tools (Canva, Hub Spot, or similar a plus)
- Interest in social media, content creation, and video
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple projects at once
- Able to commit to a consistent part-time schedule, including occasional local business expos
This internship runs 6 months to 1 year. Strong performers may be considered for full-time employment as early as 90 days in — our goal is to convert every intern to a full-time role whenever possible. All MRP employees are also given a clear career path, with promotions available based on performance.
