Volunteers are responsible for assisting our clients while they are food shopping in-person at our pantry. Volunteers will open the door to clients, check them in, help them with shopping questions if they arise, and then check the client out. If no shoppers are present during the shift, the volunteer will be assigned other responsibilities such as helping to sort donations, stocking shelves, and other light duties.
Depending on the day of the shift, hours will be 2-4 hours.
This is a regular opportunity that requires an on-going weekly commitment. This opportunity requires a volunteer that is friendly and high energy.
