Job Summary
Up to $20,000 Sign-On bonus based on experience.
The Assistant Nurse Manager directs and supervises nursing care functions and activities in the Emergency Department to ensure competent delivery of quality patient care. They implement, educate, and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, standards, and regulations for personnel, patients, medical staff, and the public. The Assistant Nurse Manager’s primary role is to lead nursing personnel, while also taking patient assignments when necessary to deliver high quality patient care.
QualificationsEducation
- Minimum:
Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Registered Nurse licensure. - Preferred: BSN
Experience
- Minimum two years as a staff nurse, previous charge nurse experience preferred.
Required Certification / Licensure / Registration
- Registered Nurse – licensed in the State of Florida
- American Heart Association BLS Certification
- ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI
- CEN preferred, but not required
Other Qualifications
- Basic computer skills
- ENPC strongly encouraged
