Full Time, Evenings

The Transfer Center RN is responsible for coordinating direct admissions and hospital transfers to and from community hospitals with the intent to transfer each patient to an appropriate Tenet hospital. The position works collaboratively to foster relationships with referring facilities, physicians, and hospital staffs in representation of Tenet Healthcare Mission and Values. Works closely with clinical, medical staff and leadership teams to identify, trend, and report barriers to patient access and throughput.

Education:

Minimum - recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Registered Nurse licensure.

Preferred: BSN.

Experience:

Minimum of four (4) years of clinical experience in an acute care setting, including Charge Nurse, House Supervisor, or other related management experience.

Registered Nurse – licensed in the State of Florida.

Delray Medical Center, part of the Palm Beach Health Network, is a 536‑bed acute care hospital spanning 30 acres, employing over 1,700 employees and 700 physicians and serving southern Palm Beach County for over 40 years. The Pinecrest Rehabilitation and Outpatient Hospital at Delray Medical Center is the only state‑designated brain and spinal cord injury rehabilitation program in the county by the State of Florida. Delray Medical Center is also home to the Fair Oaks Pavilion, a 53‑bed adult psychiatry unit.
