Registered Nurse

• Perform patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health history documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

• Administer medications, injections, and treatments following strict protocols to ensure safety and efficacy.

• Monitor patient conditions closely, utilizing skills in airway management, ventilator care, tube feeding, and acute pain management to respond swiftly to changes.

• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for discharge planning, case management, and diagnostic evaluation to optimize patient recovery and long-term care plans.

• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and long-term care standards.

• Provide patient education on medication administration, wound care, dementia or Alzheimer's care, and health coaching tailored to individual needs.

• Support infection control practices and aseptic techniques during procedures such as venipuncture, suturing, and specimen collection.

• Must have a valid RN or LPN license with current state licensure; additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).

• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and experience in skilled nursing facilities, preferred.

• Excellent communication skills for caregiver communication and patient/client interaction; ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
