Lease Abstraction Analyst

This position is responsible for reviewing and abstracting key financial details from lease agreements to ensure accurate and timely billing.

• Review and interpret key financial details from lease agreements.
• Activate leases upon receipt of Notice to Proceed/Tenant Ready Notifications utilizing the language of the Site Lease Agreements (SLA).
• Work with various departments (Leasing, Development, M&A, Legal, Real Estate) within the company to obtain pertinent financial information.
• Assist the Collections team with reconciling leases to identify any payment variances from Tenants.
• Assist in maintaining the Abstraction general mailbox for new leases and/or lease changes received from various departments.
• Process lease term extensions in Net Suite based on Renewal language in Tenant agreements.
• Process lease terminations in Net Suite that are initiated by the Leasing department.
• Calculate Consumer Price Index (CPI) and Product Price Index (PPI) for annual lease escalation based on the index referenced in lease agreements.

Position will work directly from the corporate office with minimum travel. High-volume, fast paced – results oriented environment.

• Minimum 5 years of Industry and lease abstraction experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Highly meticulous and ability to multi-task necessary.
• Required to be proficient in Excel (pivot tables and v-lookups).
• Prior experience working with Net Suite or similar ERP systems preferred.
• Strong organizational skills: ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon time limits through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a demanding environment.
• Initiative-taking; able to work independently to complete tasks and respond to department requests and to collaborate with others to utilize their resources and knowledge to identify high quality solutions.
