Essential Job Functions Customer Focus
  • Welcome all customers with genuine enthusiasm over the phone and in person, communicate clearly, and adapt style to suit each client.
  • Use all systems to manage customer flow and deliver a 5‑star experience (appointments, POS, iPad tools). Research and communicate product information enthusiastically.
  • Provide exceptional service to multiple customers simultaneously and contribute to the store’s 5‑star goal. Proactively address concerns with confidence, escalating when necessary.
  • Prepare for appointments by reviewing customer profiles, favorites, and setting up a fitting room.
  • Build relationships by welcoming customers to the store, asking questions, and listening to understand expectations and needs.
  • Identify the perfect gown or dress during the first three try‑ons.
  • Schedule future appointments by reviewing the timeline calendar and following up with customers.
  • Explain the importance of alterations and promote services. Partner with Alterations Specialists to set appointments and pursue an 80% conversion of brides to alterations.
  • Ensure proper measurements are taken and recorded for ordering and minimizing returns.
  • Maintain store‑standards: clean, organized, promotional readiness, and report any broken or damaged equipment.
  • Adhere to the company dress code.
  • Offer the loyalty and partner programs to support a one‑stop experience.
Analyzing & Decision Making
  • Respond quickly to all customer questions with product and service information. Build relationships to exceed customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Managing Performance
  • Maintain hourly sales productivity using the 5‑Step Selling Process.
  • Support cash wrap behaviors and accurately process transactions. Promote add‑ons, confirm contact information, review receipts/policies, and schedule future appointments.
  • Achieve 65% or greater platform conversion.
  • Achieve add‑on goals: headpieces 75%, foundations 10%, shoes 20%.
  • Set return appointments for the complete wedding party.
  • Become a trusted advisor through timely training completion and continuous product knowledge and trend expertise.
  • Strive to become a Circle of Excellence member by exceeding sales targets.
Managing Change
  • Execute new processes, behaviors, contests, and programs as assigned.
  • Perform duties assigned by store management: promotion sign‑up, merchandising and visual changes, markdowns, and inventory counts.

  • Support the store team to achieve sales, service, and operational goals.
  • Accurately clock in and out for all scheduled shifts, breaks, and meals.
  • Follow loss prevention, security processes, and policies.

  • Focus on personal development and complete all training on time for ongoing growth.
  • Celebrate team successes and share sales and product knowledge with fellow stylists.
  • Be open to coaching and feedback to improve behaviors and processes.
  • Complete all required my Learning courses and stay current with the curriculum.

Physical Demands
  • Stand, walk, sit for extended periods, reach, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Use vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, read and use computers and electronic devices for long periods.
Education & Credentials
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1‑2 years prior retail experience in an apparel, service, or specialty store environment preferred.
  • Prior experience with a computerized POS system preferred.
