Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Community Patrol in Delray Beach, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor flows. You will communicate clearly with residents, guests, and onsite teams, document observations using a computer and/or tablet, and respond with professionalism and care.

Job Schedule- Wednesday 11:00 AM – 03:00 PM
- Thursday 04:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- Friday 02:30 PM – 10:30 PM
- Saturday 04:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- Sunday 11:00 AM – 04:00 PM

- Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying appropriate property contacts and/or public services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and access concerns.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site procedures, including checking identification and/or authorization when required.
- Observe and report suspicious behavior, unauthorized access, loitering, disturbances, and other security-related concerns, escalating per post orders.
- Operate and/or monitor security-related systems as assigned, which may include CCTV, access control, intercoms, and alarm panels, and report malfunctions or irregularities.
- Complete shift activity logs and incident reports with clear, timely, and accurate details in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
- Provide directions, answer questions, and assist with de-escalation during resident and guest interactions while maintaining a professional presence.
- Perform foot and/or vehicle patrols in varying environments and conditions based on the assigned residential property and post orders.
- Customer Service Experience is preferred.
- Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver s license will be required for driving positions only.
