As a Security Officer - Unarmed Hospital Patrol in Delray Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will support patients, visitors, and staff with clear communication, service-minded assistance, and timely reporting.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, contacting clinical leadership and/or emergency services, and supporting controlled access to restricted areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, corridors, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, identify hazards, and report maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow by confirming authorization, directing guests, assisting with way finding, and documenting security-related activity according to location requirements.
• Complete timely reports on incidents, patrol activity, and security-related observations, and communicate updates to on-site staff and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Hospital vaccines are required.
• Hospital morgue duties are required.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Hospital restrain individuals duties are required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
