Security Officer Enhanced Part Time

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.;
Screen individuals and their personal items at designated entry points using approved procedures and screening equipment, and report prohibited items and/or unusual findings according to site guidelines.;
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify identification and/or credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry in a calm, professional manner.;
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with a problem-solving approach, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or local authorities as needed.;
Conduct regular and random observations of entrances, lobbies, and nearby perimeter areas, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
